Do I get full root
access?
Yes, you can install any software or application that
is compatible with RedHat/Plesk/cPanel/DirectAdmin on the Linux VPS. You have read/write
access to all server files. While no one else can
see or access your files.
What is a VPS?
VPS/VDS: Virtual Private/Dedicated Servers fill the
gap between shared hosting and a dedicated server,
it's a bit like 'broadband' hosting, all the benefits
of a dedicated server without the worry.
Control: A virtual private server gives you root access
to the system, this allows you to modify server configuration
files, install applications or modify system software,
in a shared environment you have to rely on server
settings that are 'best fit' for all clients and this
may not suit your needs.
Hardware and Software
The servers use Intel dual xeons with
2.8Ghz to 3.6Ghz CPUs or AMD dual opterons with 248 or 250 CPUs. The
servers have between 6GB and 12GB of RAM, and multiple SCSI drives set
in a RAID 5 or RAID 10 configuration.
We use Virtuozzo
as the backend to provide VPS solutions.
How many domains can
I host?
All of our packages have unlimited domain web panel
licence's, however there are many things that can
limit the number of domains you can host.
